Night photography outing - Bay East Garden

There is something very special about photographing city lights and waterways at night.

One can never grow tired of it, yet without good technique it is difficult to take striking shots yourself.

Let me show you some tricks to ensure you can capture our beautiful city well.

We will meet at the Bay east Gardens Visitor Centre just before sunset and will discuss some of the technical aspect before we get started . We will then make our way to the waterfront. This is a great vantage point from which we will photograph sparkling city skyline during sunset, blue hour and at night.

All participants need to have a basic understanding of how to shoot in M mode. You will need to be able to readily change aperture and shutter speed. In addition good knowledge of your camera will ensure you maximise what you learn in this class.
There will be no time to teach these technical aspects during the outing.
