He chambered in MahWengKwai Seow & Megat under Dato’ Mah Weng Kwai. Gan was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in September 2009 and commenced legal practice with the same firm. He was promoted as Senior Associate in 2015. He was made a Partner of the firm in March 2019. Gan continues his practice with MahWengKwai & Associates in the areas of general litigation, wills, probate and administration, banking litigation, debt recovery, construction, arbitration, family law, disputes by Management Corporation and Joint Management Body and criminal law.------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------John Chan graduated from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia with a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) in 2013 and was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 2014.
