If you’re a runner, this workshop will help relieve soreness and tension in overused muscles groups,increase your flexibility, strengthen and lengthen leg muscles, build upper back strength for improved posture and ease of running, stretch your ITband and supporting muscle groups, and help prevent injuries that often accompany long distance running. You’ll take home mindfulness and focus techniques, and a worksheet of tips and stretches to pair with your training or workouts.The workshop will be a Vinyasa style flow, focusing on coordinating breath and movement to flow from one pose to the next. Taught by Organica’sVinyasa Vibes teacher, Cynthia Wong, the class will reflect many runners’ running/fitness companion - upbeat tempo music! An avid yogi and runner,yoga made up 90% of Cynthia’s training for her latest marathon in Angkor Wat, Cambodia in August. She’ll be running her fourth full marathon during the Malaysian Women’s Marathon in KL on March 6.
