It inspires residents to rediscover their neighbourhood where colour and stories of the community can be used to create art. Join us for an afternoon photography walk in Toa Payoh! Kicking off in Toa Payoh, The Real Estates photo walk takes you on a trail to rediscover hidden gems of one of Singapore's oldest towns through photography. Visit iconic landmarks like the dragon playground and discover a sacred tree shrine believed to be more than 100 years old. Whether you are 8 or 88 years old, grab your camera or smartphone, and bring out the colours of the neighbourhood through your unique lenses of the town's visual landscape.Participants will get the opportunity to learn tips from Logue Photographers and listen to the insightful stories of long-time residents of Toa Payoh while on the photo walk. The shortlisted photographs will be showcased as an interactive installation during Arts in Your Neighbourhood March 2016 at Toa Payoh HDB Hub! For your comfort, you should be in good physical health. You are advised to dress comfortably with comfortable walking shoes and to bring along a water bottle for the trail.
