Presentation: Factory Farming Awareness Coalition Presentation

The aim for the series of talks PHARAL ( the club promoting human animal relations and mutual relations) is hosting this semester is to show how intersectional the effects of factory farming are and how when one pledges to eat less meat or become a full on vegan, it is not coming from a strictly privileged position (I am rich and white and can shop at Whole Foods), but rather from a desire to challenge the over arching system of oppression that affects human and non-human animals, as well as the Earth. It is also not exclusive to "animal lovers."

Veganism goes hand in hand with social consciousness is the message we are hoping to send this semester!"
This talk will cover:
1) What factory farming is
2) Its effects on workers rights, the environmental, animals and world hunger.
Hope to see you there!
