It is thus important that contractors prepare themselves for the issues and dispute resolution process that lie ahead. Join us for this online talk, in which our speakers will cover the likely construction dispute that will arise following the MCO, the available dispute resolution mechanisms with a focus on construction adjudication under the Construction Industry Payment and Adjudication Act (CIPAA) 2012 as well as recent development in the law. She graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) from the University of London (External) in 2012 and completed her Certificate of Legal Practice (CLP) in 2013. Christine qualified in 2017 as a Certified Adjudicator and is empanelled as an Adjudicator with the Asian International Arbitration Centre (AIAC) (Formerly known as Kuala Lumpur Regional Centre for Arbitration (KLRCA)). Christine is also a qualified accountant, having graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce / Bachelor of Business System from Monash University in 2004 and having completed her Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) exams in 2006. Christine’s primary areas of practice are construction adjudication, arbitration and litigation, taxation, and contractual disputes.------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Hannah Patrick graduated from the University of Malaya with a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) in 2012 and was admitted to the High Court of Malaya in 2013 and to the High Court of Sabah and Sarawak in Sarawak in 2017. Having completed her pupillage under the guidance of Mr Raymond Mah, she joined MahWengKwai & Associates as an Associate in 2013. After being to called to the Sarawak Bar, she rejoined the firm in 2017.
