CAEC friends and associates gather on the third day of Chinese New Year to wish good tidings for the Year of the Monkey. We take this opportunity to meet with Vicente and Monica Chung from Taiwan. The couple, who run a cafe in Taiwan, will be in town to visit friends. Vicente, a well respected coffee instructor, will be on hand to share his views on the cafe business and coffee culture. This will be a great occasion for friends old and new to meet and to compare notes on the business of the world's favourite beverage. In CAEC fashion, we will prepare snacks and beverages (we promise to make it light, considering that many of us might have too much to consume in the festive period). Notably, we shall have our video filming equipment ready to capture moments of our sharing. With due post production, we shall be happy to share the video clips online. Hence, just to offset the cost involved, we collect a fee from our attendees: SGD20 nett for online payment, SGD30 nett for walk-in.
