What to expect: Flora Botanical Watercolour Workshop.Awaken your creative senses to art and nature in this flora and botanical watercolour painting class. Pick up painting skills and style that resembles children’s story books, vintage illustrated dictionary or botanical prints found in Natural History Museums.For each class, you'll learn how to observe, sketch and paint a specially featured plant. Come and experience the wonders of watercolour, basic botany appreciation, learn about the plant names, their culture significance and how to adapt them into your artworks.You’ll learn how to sketch up a variety of flora and foliage with pencil and dive into the joy of watercolour mixing. We'll begin with a quick introduction to the botanist painter's choices of yellows and blues from Winsor & Newton that will produced the most natural and vivid colours as observed in nature. Come and find out more the wonders of watercolour and nature from an art and botany lover. You'll be painting in a cozy and natural light-filled art studio in a heritage shophouse facing a courtyard of greenery.
