Opening the show we have Tamsin, a singer-songwriter who in 2019 wrote and recorded a series of songs in LA encompassing elements of electro-pop, pop rock and experimental music. When performing live, she has an indie, raw, acoustic sound. She has graced the Hard Rock Cafe on a number of occassions, and she never ceases to amaze us with incredible song writing that belies her years. Next up is Theo, a singer-psychologist-songwriter, who tries to test his theories in the research lab however, when that’s not possible, he makes them into songs. These songs span topics from evolution and house hunting to reincarnation and the observation that we all used to be babies. His nieces (3 and 9 years old) have copyrights over the songs as they were primarily written for them, however, they have kindly given permission for them to be shared; for a reasonable sum! They sincerely hope you enjoy them but also want to remind you they are not your songs, they are theirs! You might be familiar with 'observational humour'; Theo's set is the songwriting version of this - funny and poigniant. Rounding out the night is Firefly Search Party. She's from Singapore. He's from America. Saying their worlds collided would be an understatement. So, they sing about it. With vocal harmonies at the core of what they do, they swerve between genres from song to song. You can expect honest and vulnerable songwriting that explores the struggle for love and human connection, the search for meaning, joy and triumph. For the Living Room Sessions, these songs are elevated by Acoustic Guitar, Ukulele, Hand Drum, and Percussion instruments.Its going to be quite a night!! The venue is centrally located which means you are right in the thick of things to party on into the night; no taxi required.
