The Spirits Play features five post-war personas as they try to find a way home. Along the way, they get to know each other and share their own personal dark and twisted experiences from the war. They realize that they all played a part in each other’s traumatic experiences. After learning about each other’s stories, they begin to question the motives of each other’s role in the war and even begin to question the point of the war. They start asking questions that nobody want to answer truthfully in a war. They start getting more and more confused and eventually get answers that seem to do more harm than good.
