There is confirmed attendance of 200 foreign migrant workers, and we are inviting you to join the dining experience. During the event, BoP HUB, DSM and NUS CARE will also share about how we will tackle the logistical issues of food catering for workers, as well as how Fortified Rice can benefit them through its enhanced nutritional value.45rice is a Social Enterprise incubated under BoP HUB. 45rice's mission is to improve the health and livelihood of foreign migrant workers in Singapore. 45rice aims to improve the nutrition levels of food for foreign workers and to mitigate the middlemen costs of food distribution to foreign workers. We understand that workers may face high food costs and may lack sufficient nutrition for them to work productively. We have designed Fortified Rice, an affordable and enhanced nutritional value type of rice which will be used by food caterers for workers. Our hope is that Fortified Rice will become the main component of every foreign workers' diet, which in turn will promote their health and enhance their welfare.Channel News Asia Coverage of 45riceToday News Coverage of 45riceBoP HUB WebsiteDSM WebsiteNUS CARE FacebookEvent Partners:BoP HUB, DSM, NUS CARE, Unison Construction, Tuas View Dormitory, Hoffman AgencyUpdatestag:peatix.com,2016-01-18 16:33:162016-01-18 16:33:16Title was changed to "Fortify Our Workers - Food Tasting Event".
