It's a workshop for those who are interested in the digital fabrication (3D printing, etc).A three-hour Rhino 3D Modeling workshop by Saki Hayashi, a licensed architect with a Master Degree from the Interactive Telecommunications Program at Tisch School of the Arts in New York University.The workshop is intended for those interested in 3D printing by giving basic knowledge of Rhinoceros, an award-winning 3D software, to customize existing 3D data to create your own 3D printed products.Syllabus covers:Rhino v5 basics & user interfaceDrawing NURBS curve and Editing the control pointsCreating surface from NURBS (Sweep and Loft)Creating solid model from surfaces (Offset surface, Extrude Surface)Checking and analyzing the solid model to make it 3D printable model(Show Edges, Check mesh)Editing Geometry(Boolean, Join and Split)Practical cases: tracing objects from photos (Set background bitmap)Converting 3D printable format (Mesh, Export)Participants should bring their PC with Rhino 5 installed.
