Come join us and discover science and mathematics concepts through playful activities during the end of year holidays at Playeum's 'Fizz Fizz Zoom' programme! In partnership with ExxonMobil Asia Pacific Pte Ltd, 'Fizz Fizz Zoom' is a two-hour programme centred around an interdisciplinary approach of science, math, engineering and art. Supported by ExxonMobil and featuring a chemistry focus, this programme aims to encourage and nurture interest in mathematics and science, helping children to understand these concepts through applying it in everyday fun experiences. Facilitated by Playeum's trained playmakers, children will get the chance to explore chemical reactions, materials, energy and design through carefully designed activities, which emphasize discovery, experimentation, collaboration and the importance of process.Kindly note that it is the same content as last year’s Fizz Fizz Zoom programme. While we encourage for children who have not attended the programme previously/have not been to Playeum to join us this time round, we are still more than happy to welcome those who went last year and would really like to go again!Important Note:Children will be experimenting with vinegar and baking soda during the programme. Kindly note that if your child has allergies to either of these substances, this programme will not be suitable for him/her. Slots are on a first-come, first-served basis.*Kindly note that all programme participants can stay on/come before to play at Playeum for 1-hour. If you wish to stay on longer than an hour, a special discounted admission rate of $18.40 per child (includes entry for 1 accompanying adult) will be available for purchase. This discount is also extended to younger siblings of programme participants who wish to explore Playeum while waiting for his/her sibling. Entry for additional adults are priced at $10 per adult. Terms & Conditions- This programme has been designed for children aged 7 to 12 only and may cover in-depth scientific concepts. Younger siblings are welcome to play at Playeum at a discounted admission rate.- Only 2 registrations per transaction is allowed at one time. If you wish to register for a third child, kindly submit another registration form.- There will be a 15-minute grace period from the start time of the programme. In event that you do not arrive after 15 minutes, kindly note that your child's seat will be released to another child on the waiting list.- Should you request to be on waitlist for the next session due to late arrival (after 15 minutes), you have to be present on-site and register at our front desk.- Kindly note that no changing of date/time slots will be entertained once your registration has been submitted online.- While participation in the Fizz Fizz Zoom programme is provided free, it only includes 1-hour of free playtime at the Centre for the workshop participant. If your child wishes to stay after/come before the programme to play at the Centre for a longer period of time, feel free to purchase discounted admission at our front desk.
