Zine Launch ‘CINEMAPURA 01’ & Objectifs Residency SharingSGIFF Festival Lounge / Lower Gallery, Objectifs Centre for Photography and FilmSat (23 Nov), 2pm - 3.30pmFree admission-Join us for a sharing session by SINdie, the inaugural recipient of the Objectifs Creatives Residency, which ran from August to September 2019, as well as the launch of 'CINEMAPURA 01', a zine documenting the first chapter of its long-term research initiative 'CINEMAPURA: Some Brief Histories of the Cinema in Singapore’.SINdie's presentation will cover its practice, the cinematic landscape in Singapore and Southeast Asia, its residency projects 'CINEMAPURA' and '(MISE-EN-____)', and a sharing on the abridged history of the cinema in Singapore.The presentation will be followed by a Q&A session with Editor-at-Large and Creative Lead (Research and Residency), Alfonse Chiu.Merchandise will be available for purchase, while the zine will be open for pre-orders.-About SINdieFounded in 2008 as a blog documenting the film community from the grassroots level, SINdie is an editorial platform and collective for both Singaporean and Southeast Asian cinema.
