Since it's conception, this 'Founder and Queen' of Kebaya Jazz has been lulling her fans with haunting & melodic songs from the around the region infused with the element of jazz and her silky sultry prowess. She dives into songs pre and post Merdeka and has a penchant for tunes from around, but not limited to, the archipelago. One may be lulled by her voice breathing joy into songs by our late Tan Sri P Ramlee, Jimmy Boyle or Ismail Marzuki, Maria Menado to name but a few. Yet this chanteuse of Kebaya Jazz casts her silk web to include music in Spanish, Portuguese, French, Mandarin and Tamil. The original 'Queen' of Kebaya Jazz sets out to journey with you with music wrapped in lacy kebayas, softly yet warmly drizzled by the soothing sounds and aura that is simply 'Ida Mariana'.Accompanying her for the first time at No Black Tie, will be the legendary jazz maestro Dato' Mokhzani Ismail, Director of the RTM Orchestra. He has played alongside  jazz greats, namely Chris Botti (at the MPO), Eliane Elias and Sergio Mendes just to name a few.Dato' Mokhzani and Ida Mariana have been serenading many in the Klang Valley with songs from this genre,  together they seem to make the right combination as they share the same passion for music of this time & era.This weekend will be a treat for both jazz fans as well as Kebaya Jazz fans. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ All purchases made are non-refundable and non-exchangeable.
