A graduate from Rambert School (UK) and Northern School of Contemporary Dance (UK), she has performed professionally with T.H.E (Second) Dance Company, VERVE, Rambert Dance Company and Moving Visions Dance Company.Alongside her company work, Maybelle is currently developing her own movement research practice 'PALMS', exploring how our hands can enhance movement quality and movement possibilities through 5 principles: Pressure, Articulation, Locomotion, Mapping & Sensitivity. Through platforms such as the Next Choreography Festival (UK) and Rambert School's Graduation Showcase, Maybelle has produced a number of works that have been praised for their sensitivity, openness and unique voice.She is also involved with various collectives in Singapore, Europe and the UK, ranging from site-specific to inter-disciplinary collaborations.About Sonata Community StudioWith the aim to bring dance to everyone and help dancers be better dancers, the Sonata Community Studio is a place to learn, train, and play.
