We invite you to join us for ‘An Evening with Dr. Jane Goodall: Action for Conservation’On 26 November 2019, Singapore welcomes Dr. Jane Goodall to the Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel for a very special event; An Evening with Dr. Jane Goodall: Action for Conservation. Dr. Jane Goodall will be the main event, speaking extensively about her storied experiences and many adventures on how humans can better live in harmony with nature and help preserve local ecological systems and wildlife.Dr. Jane Goodall has tirelessly worked to further the ideals of conservation and living in harmony with nature. Starting from her time in Tanzania in the 1960s, where she studied wild chimpanzees, she now advocates for ecological preservation through her global foundation; the Jane Goodall Institute, and for peace as a United Nations Messenger of Peace.The evening will be hosted by Nadya Hutagalung (MTV’s pioneer VJ and host of Asia's Next Top Model) and Moe Alkaff (Singapore’s natural entertainer, comedian, magician, dancer,  and rapper of ‘Gotcha’ fame) as Masters of Ceremonies. The Thomson Big Band (the centerpiece of Singapore’s big band world, composed of the island’s top jazz artists), and Yvette Atienza (widely recognized as one of the pioneers of jazz vocals in Singapore) will provide the entertainment.  In addition to this fantastic line-up, there will be an extensive selection of prizes to bid on in order to raise money for the Jane Goodall Institute of Singapore (JGIS).JGIS is a local NGO that works with schools and the local community to increase awareness on conserving Singapore’s indigenous monkey populations and to provide education on living in harmony with nature.This is an excellent opportunity for you and your guests to hear directly from a living legend in the field of conservation and someone whose stories are truly inspiring.
