In today’s globalised world, it is not uncommon for one to be born in one country, grown up in another country, graduated in another country and settled down yet again in another country for work. In this constant relocation, What does home mean anymore? For some, home is where they come from; for others, home is where they are going; for yet others, home is where they are. What is the relationship between concept of home and sense of belonging? Where does one draw his/her sense of belonging? Is it tied to a physical space (city/country) ? Is it tied to emotional attachments (people) ? Is it tied to cultural or national identity? What role does the feeling of home and sense of belonging play in the formation and construction of our identities on an individual-level as well as on a collective-level?
