Social Media for Marketing and Branding

The Internet and social media harness the potential to change our world. This can be reflected clearly in recent national elections worldwide, from US President’s Barack Obama presidential campaign in 2008 to Singapore Prime Minister Lee campaign in 2015. Beyond politics, the ability to reach millions at a fraction of the cost of television broadcast creates an entire new dimension in the way information is transmitted. For businesses, it is all about leveraging on all these online social media platforms to improve branding, Public relations and marketing. Social networks are transforming businesses fundamentally.

In this short course, learners will develop a deeper understanding of the rising use of social media and how to use these platforms to benefit themselves/their company. The course is designed to equip learners with the knowledge and skills to become more proficient social media users and thus able to implement the appropriate social media actions and practices within their organisation. The course has taken a creative approach via a combination of facilitated and real-world learning, where learners are better engaged with experts to achieve tangible outcome through an intensive 2days course.
