Is there really no place in society for someone like her?Miss(ed)Content Warning: Sexism and Misogyny, Sexual HarassmentClaire realizes that an acquaintance snapped a photo of her when she was in a vulnerable situation. Indignant, she steps forward to fight for her rights, only to face obstacles in getting the support from people she trusts. Follow @drama_box_ for cool shows too!About Forum TheatreForum Theatre is a form of interactive theatre that aims to encourage creative, community-based dialogues. In Forum Theatre, audience members will watch the play once, then they are invited to choose any point in the piece where they see an incident of oppression to intervene. (Think progress bar on videos :P)The intervention process goes like this: the audience will come forward to replace the oppressed character to improvise solutions for problems faced by them. Other actors in the scene then respond in characters. This is to empower the community to rehearse solutions to change the outcome of a scenario for the better, which could be applicable to their everyday lives. About the organiserARTivate is the youth wing of Drama Box. It was established in May 2007, with the aim of providing a platform for youths looking to explore and gain all-rounded insight into socially engaged theatre.Founded in 1990, Drama Box is one of Singapore’s leading theatre companies known for creating socially-engaged works that inspire dialogue, reflection and change. By shining a spotlight on marginalised narratives and making space for the communal contemplation of complex issues, it seeks to tell stories that provoke a deeper understanding of Singapore’s culture, history and identity.
