サイエンスやテクノロジーを食に応用して、Wellnessを実 現しよう！最近、海外（特に北米）では、 食にサイエンスやテクノロジーを組み合わせて考えようという動き が急速に広がっています。食は私たちの健康・ ウェルネスに重要なだけでなく、 特に肉を生産するために必要とされる資源（水など）との関係、 最近では日本でも注目されている廃棄物についての動きがとても盛 んです。貧困のため食事がとれない人がかなりいる一方で、賞味・ 消費期限をすぎたため廃棄される食品の量がとても多いことが注目 を集め始めているのです。今回は、８月はじめに日本で開かれたSmart Kitchen Summit Japanを主催されたゲストをお招きして、 最近の食をめぐる課題、 どうすればより多くの人の関心を集めることができるか、 また個人として何ができるか、などについて考えます。 世界での食とサイエンス・ テクノロジーのリンクを目指す動きだけでなく、 食についての課題をより多くの方々に知っていただくためのアイデ ア、活動を考えていただきます。場所は今話題を集めているWeWork乃木坂です。【参加にあたってのお知らせ】１．セッションはすべて英語で行われます。 グローバルアジェンダに関心のある方の参加を歓迎します。( 開場は１９時、セッションは１９時半スタートです)２．定員40名。先着により申込を締め切らせて戴きます。 定員に達した場合はご容赦ください。 　３．セッション中の様子を写真・動画で撮影いたします。後日、 セミナーレポート等に活用する可能性があります。 ご了承ください。4. Peatixから登録されると、当日はキャンセルできません。 ２日前にお知らせいただければ、キャンセル料金はかかりますが、 キャンセルできますので、お知らせください。サイエンスやテクノロジーを食に応用して、Wellnessを実現しよう！Interested in Global Agenda of Food and Wellness?  Applying science & technology to food has finally caught some attention in Japan, though the momentum seems to be much stronger  overseas, in particular, North America.  Every one of us is aware how critical the food is for our wellbeing . The topic of food and menu seems to be one of the hot items for our conversation.  At this SINCA session,  we will explore the issue of food from variety of perspectives.  For one, the issue of food waste. Another is the resource (such as water) required to produce food (for example red meat), i.e. food and sustainability.    We will ask our guests who organized the Smart Kitchen Summit Japan held  early August to discuss the trend and issues on food. We will ask participants to brainstorm to  develop ideas/activities to make the topic of applying  science/technology  to food  better known and  accessible to more people.  We will also think about how we as individuals can contribute to the issue of food, which is one of the global issues.(Note)1．All session will be conducted in English; and we welcome all who are interested in Global Agenda. Venue starts at 19:00 and session will start at 19:30.2．The maximum number of participants are 40, so if the total numbers of applicants exceed 40, we cannot accept the offer.3．We will take the pictures and video throughout session, and we may use it on SNS or HP.4.
