Get your tickets here About the Speaker Lee Thean-jeen’s career began with AlterAsians (2000/01), an anthology series adapted from short stories of Singapore writers. One episode, Iris’ Rice Bowl won Best Single Drama or Telemovie at the 2000 Asian Television Awards.Another drama series adapted from Singapore literature, The Singapore Short Story Project (2003/04/07) won Best Drama Series at the Asian Television Awards in 2003. Thean-jeen’s other television work includes creating, executive-producing, writing and directing the highly-acclaimed legal drama The Pupil and its popular spin-off Code Of Law, as well as the thriller Zero Calling, which garnered a Silver Remi for Best Mini-Series at the Houston International Film Festival.His first feature film was the Malaysia-Singapore co-production Homecoming (笑着回家) (2011), which was one of the top-grossing Singapore films that year. Other feature films include the comedy satire Everybody’s Business (人人有粪) (2013), the romantic drama Love … And Other Bad Habits (2013) and, most recently, the supernatural horror, Bring Back The Dead (招魂)(2015).
