鹿児島初の TEDxイベント TEDxSakurajima 20132013年テーマRe-Opening the Door．時代の扉をひらくアイデア。 5月5日開催。 TEDxSakurajima（*1 実行委員会 代表 木場雄一郎）は、5 月5 日(日)に鹿児島大学 稲盛会館にて、TEDx (*2) イベント「TEDxSakurajima2013 Re-Opening the Door 時代の扉をひらくアイデア」を開催します。 TEDxSakurajima is a TEDx event being held at the Inamori Auditorium at Kagoshima Univeristy on the 5th of May 2013. The theme for the event is “Re-opening the Door”. 当日は、県内外から、テクノロジー、デザイン、街おこし、ビジネスなど様々な分野のスピーカーやパフォーマーたちが、ステージに登場します。イベント会場では、休憩時間に登壇するスピーカーとコミュニケーションがとれるスペースを設けます。 The event will consist of talks given by speakers from fields as diverse as technology, design, regional development and business, and performances of music. There will be a chance for participants to talk to and exchange ideas with all of the speakers during breaks. 鹿児島初のTEDxカンファレンス開催にあたり、「TEDxSakurajima 2013」では、未来に向かって新たなスタートを切りたいという思いを込め、テーマを「Re-Opening the Door 時代の扉をひらくアイデア」とし、新時代への扉を開くきっかけとなるような新しい視点からアイデアをご紹介し、鹿児島から世界へ新たな可能性を示すことをコンセプトとして開催します。 TEDxSakurajima is the first TEDx event in Kagoshima. Our theme “Re-opening the Door” was chosen to express our desire to reconnect Kagoshima with the world in a meaningful way and to open the door on fresh ideas from a new perspective TEDxSakurajima は、TED(*3)の大ファンで、鹿児島でもTEDxイベントを開催し、素晴らしいアイデアを共有する場をつくりたいという思いをもった５人でチームを発足、2012 年 7月にTEDへライセンスを申請しイベント開催へ向けて準備を始めました。 TEDxSakurajima was started in July, 2012 by a team of 5 TED fans with a passion for great ideas. Finding that Kagoshima lacked a place where ideas and opinions could be readily exchanged, we applied to TED for a TEDx license and began working on the event. 鹿児島と世界を繋ぐ新しいコミュニティを創造する第一歩として、県内外からお集まりいただく登壇者と、イベントを様々な形で支えていただく協賛社、そして総勢60名からなるボランティアスタッフ一同が力を合わせ、イベントを盛り上げていきます。 We sincerely hope that you will join us in taking the first step to create a forward thinking community that will connect Kagoshima and the world.
