REVERBERATE – The echo of a sound,
a feeling, a rhythm, a heartbeat… all comes from one source. The one who sets
it off.
Reverberate is a premiere
contemporary dance production produced and created by new dance initiative,
Soul Signature, led by Sufri Juwahir, with Sheriden Newman, who
are presenting their voice in dance through their practices. Both dance artists
come from a different background of dance and culture, yet together they are
discovering their ways to connect and express through dance. Reverberate will
be a first production for Soul Signature, as the work being presented will be the
echoes of the artists’ voice and the collaborative duet being the source of the
echoes.
Reverberate presents a
collaborative program by two independent artists, Sufri Juwahir (Singapore) and
Sheriden Newman (Australia/Singapore), for a 2 night showcase, 15 & 16 January 2016
at Goodman Arts Centre, Black Box Theatre, Singapore.About Soul Signature:Soul Signature,
a new dance group founded by Sufri Juwahir (Singapore) and Sheriden Newman
(Australia/Singapore), aims to bring together a new strand of contemporary
dance works, to outreach to Singapore and further abroad.
Soul Signature’s purpose is to connect,
drive and explore the heart of dance through practice of defining and
redefining contemporary dance.
The
Soul of our creations will define our artistic integrity and movement
