Conscious Movement: Balancing the Five Elements
Conscious Movement is a weekly class that will feature a mixture of movement modalities for those who want to be more active in a mindful way and bring more life force energy into their meridians, chakras and strengthen their core.
Each week a different facilitator will offer a series of exercises
inspired by the ancient Hindu tradition of yoga, stretches based on the
Taoist Five Elements and Pilates. This week Michelle Ayn Tessensohn will
be facilitating the class: Balancing the Five Elements.
Balancing the Five Elements
This conscious movement class is based on the Taoist Five elements of Water, Wood, Fire, Earth and Metal. You will learn about breathing in more chi energy, strengthening and energizing your energy meridians through gentle stretches and body movement.
Balancing the Five Element will involve exercises that improve your circulation, connect you
back to your body and help you balance and
sustain your vitality and well-being.
