The instrument we have at NAFA is a modern copy of the German maker Andreas Stein, who made fortepianos for Mozart’s use in the 1770s and 80s. This is the instrument that the piano music of Haydn and early Beethoven were written for. There are 2 sessions available:a) 11am - 12.30pm b) 12.30 - 2pmAbout the FacilitatorDr Eleanor Tan is Vice Dean (Administration) and Programme Coordinator for the RCM Bachelor of Music (Hons) degree at the School of Music, NAFA. She has played a significant role in the development of the music diploma and degree curricula since joining NAFA in 2002.*This event is open to NAFA staff only
