Here’s how:Three years ago HOPE International Development Agency installed a clean water system in Tsayte’s neighboring village, Laka. Lives were changed! Health has improved! The school is full every day! And the people of Laka have begun their ascent out of poverty towards a better life. The situation is starkly different for the people of Tsayte. They are still waiting for clean water…Change is coming! Rise of Laka is a film that highlights the changes in Laka, the village next to Tsayte, which was provided water system 3 years ago. Mackenzie Sheppard Productions and Name Media bring us this glimpse into the life of the people of Laka, and how water has given new life to the people there.Africa Rocks is part of a three month HOPE for AFRICA campaign aimed to raise money for Tsayte.
