Shingo likes to work hands-on with projects that not only has a technical edge but a business model edge. In the projects, Shingo helps shape the strategy and works to develop the market. Shingo Tsuda also has a teaching role at the Tokyo University of Marine Science and Technology where he teaches researchers on how to commercialize their new ideas. Before starting INDEE, Tsuda was one of the early engineers developing hard disk drives at IBM. He holds 18 patents in all fields; mechanical, electrical and software. Through his experience of continuous innovation of disk drives, he gained experience of working with teams located in 8 countries as an indication of his talent in running a globally diverse team. After IBM, he served as a director of business development at iTiD Consulting. He managed the innovation process in his organization while he developed a new business model which evolved into INDEE.
