This is a very special festival in Singapore. Chinatown will be beautifully decorated so it is rich in photographic opportunities. After a 20 minute tutorial on street photography, we will go for a wander to photograph the beautifully decorated streets and will of course also look for some traditional mooncakes.Being proficient in M mode is preferred, yet anyone shooting in Auto is sure to also thoroughly enjoy this walk.  I will be contactable on 98594501 on the night. Here is some background info: Marking the end of the autumn harvest, the Mid-Autumn Festival was traditionally a time to give thanks to the gods.It is also a time of the year that the moon is at its brightest, which is why lunar legends have always been attached to the celebration.
