The Future of Food, SG100 Edition

By Open Farm Community

What would the future of food look like in Singapore, in 50 years time? Food security will be an increasingly discussed issue, not least in land - scarce Singapore.

Let us come together to draw up possibilities of what our shared future could be, and how we can work towards shaping our foodscape. Specifically, we will share about edible gardening in urban cities, how food can be produced, grown and shared within the community, and how you and I can be part of this global movement.

This discussion will be facilitated by Bjorn Low, Founder of Edible Gardens.

Open Farm Community (OFC) is Spa Espirit Group's initiative in spearheading local farming, connecting the community to nature, and celebrating local spirit. Sitting on 35,000 sq ft of green-land, OFC unites local farmers, creative chefs and an innovative spirit in a first-of-its-kind dining concept in Singapore.
