After two successful exhibitions in Reflections 2008 and 2009, Rafi Dean is back once again to present an audio-visual installation specially commissioned for Reflections 2015. Inspired by the festival theme, this installation explores the playful tales of Malayan folklore Sang Kancil and friends. The juxtaposition of old vs. new is expressed through hand drawn imagery brought to life by LED lighting sequences, coupled by soundscapes taken from the deep Malayan rainforest.
