Take some time to get to know your camera and lenses in a small group of like minded people. Fun and facts to boost your photographyWe will start right at the beginning . Please bring all of your photography gear to the class as the aim of this class is to get you familiar with what you already own. Plus pen and paper of course Any brand camera is welcome. This class is aimed at cameras though which are capable of shooting in M mode eventually. So DSLRs, Mirrorless, Hybrid and other cameras are perfectly suited. We will start by discussing the different lenses and their uses. Then will move onto the most important features of the camera bodies ( internal and external). We go through the external features/buttons and then will move onto the theory of White Balance, Metering and Autofocus options. I make sure everyone in the class can handle their own camera a bit more confidently and gets used to adjusting settings. We do not discuss manual shooting mode in this class. That is done in the Step 2 which you will hopefully enrol for next so you can kiss 'Auto' good bye :). During the last 1/2 hour of the class we usually head outdoors and practice a few things we learned, plus some general tips on composition and light. Every class is a little different, but all of the above points will be covered. There is time for relevant questions as well.NB Minimum number of participants is 3 , max 5.
