Makan, music, art & more!Ground Zero Festival 2019 FB Event PageHomemade Art Supplies [KID-FRIENDLY]Have been wanting to make your eco-friendly paints and clay dough but not sure where to start? Join us at this experimental and sensory-based workshop, "HOMEMADE ART SUPPLIES" by ART.THERAPY.COLLECTIVE., where you turn vegetable scraps/unfinished coffee into CHEMICAL-FREE paints and clay dough, using natural ingredients readily found in the kitchen!Donald Winnicott, a British paediatrician and psychoanalyst (1896 – 1971) couldn’t have said this better, “It is in playing, and perhaps only in playing, that the child is free to be creative”. When you are engaging in the DIY process, you are allowing yourself to PLAY, and to CREATE. At the same time, you can learn about food knowledge and help spread the word about caring for our environment by creating products that are non-toxic and eco-friendly for both our next generation and the environment.  Fees: $10 (materials and coaching provided)Suitable for all age groups, children are to be supervised by their parent(s). The experimentation has been customised to be child-friendly and all foods used are natural; Nonetheless, we would appreciate if parents could accompany their kids and advise them accordingly, to avoid food or skin allergies. The activities will take around 30-45mins. Every session will start at around 10am, 11am, 12pm, 1pm. Come in anytime when seats are available!*Participants may need to queue for the next session for the purpose of crowd control to provide a conducive experienceFor enquiries, please contact yokochoi0218@gmail.com or arttherapy.slee@gmail.com
