[Re]Purpose series

One ½ day workshop for a total of 3.5 hours

Has your kid outgrown their old clothes? Make a brand new one to fit them in our [Re}Purpose workshop! Bring along 3 to 4 older used dresses that they outgrown for the 1st session! A Men's shirt or new fabrics are fine too!

Our littlest summer dress has a beautiful clean finish & a faced inner, making it oh-so-comfy for your tot to move around in. This 4-session workshop cover sewing techniques such as overlocking seams, fusing interfacing, creating fabric-covered buttons & attaching an all-in one facing with neat finishings.

Pick up or brush up your sewing skills & try your hand at creating handmade clothing!

**This is a class devised for beginners to get practice sewing. It can also be a refresher class for basic techniques!

p.s: we recommend joining our Fashion Sewing 101 held every Sat 11.30am - 1pm. This covers an introduction to the domestic sewing machine and purchasing fabrics.

What You'll Learn

  • How to upcycle kids clothes

  • How to construct garments and use the tools necessary for sewing

  • Basic understanding of reading patterns and applying their use.

Fee Includes

All sewing tools and domestic machines provided - fabric not included. Non-stretch cotton fabrics recommended. Please get in touch for any clarifications.
