The reknown Heineken Cities festival is back! On Aug 28, the party will take place at Chijmes with a six-city theme: Los Angeles, Madrid, Mexico City, Seoul, Tokyo and, of course, Singapore. What does that actually mean? Mexico City has Mariachi Nuevo Estilo, a Mariachi band of America's Got Talent fame performing surprising hip hop mashups, as well as tribal Aztec dancers (erm...), while Madrid has a flurry of flamenco dancers and DJ Cristian Varela, known for his dance music anthems. Also on the roster are K-pop dance troupes and cosplay performers, too. As usual, you pay $15 (inclusive of one welcome drink + performance + loads of fun for the night) if you sign up and make payment earlier. At the door, you will pay $20.We will all gather at Berlin Bar first. And as usual, We have the cozy corner reserved for our group. Stop in for a drink or stay a bit longer, you'll be sure to meet other fun and interesting people. Come alone or bring a friend, either way you will be glad you did. This is a great event for new members to come out and find out what our group is all about plus mix and mingle with long time members and their friends.
