After graduating from Kuude (Department of Scenography, Space and Fashion Design) at Musashino Art University, Naomi started her career at Shiseido (Advertising department). From 2002, she was assigned to work for a year at Made Thought, the London-based design studio. Naomi left Shiseido in December 2004 and started her new career as a freelancer from January 2005. Since then she has completed identity, print, and packaging work for a wide range of clients including (Marunouchi) HOUSE, la kagu, Y. & SONS, UNITED ARROWS, AND THE FRIET (art direction), HOPE, and NTT DOCOMO (packaging). She has also designed CD jackets for Akiko Yano, Hikaru Utada, and DREAMS COME TRUE. Her work has received a wealth of creative awards including; NY ADC (Gold, Silver), British D&AD (Silver), JAGDA (new face award), Tokyo ADC, Tokyo TDC, Good Design and many more.
