"Photo Manipulation" by Rames Harikrishnasamy

This self-taught photographer, designer and artist is a master at photo manipulation. He basically 'collects' images and uses them to realize the ideas in his mind. Rames will talk about his inspiration and how he created some of his best photo manipulation works.

4 PM
"Love Has No Labels" by Paulius Staniunas

A talk about the "Same Same" project that is currently being exhibited at Georgetown Festival 2015. This project celebrates those who find themselves unable to associate with just one identity, whether it be Chinese, Indian or Malay, Same Same gives its viewers a chance to visually experience Penang’s – and Malaysia’s – incredible diversity through photographs of its multiracial citizens. The artful images of Penang’s inhabitants tell the story of a country defined by its inhabitants, who despite coming from vastly different cultures, find a way to live together in harmony.
