He is currently the President of International Building Performance Simulation Association (IBPSA) - Singapore Chapter. His research interests are in the area of urban microclimate, green building technology and simulation, thermal comfort and Building Information Modelling (BIM). He is a member of BIM FM workgroup in developing BIM Guide for Asset Information Delivery, lead by Building Construction Authority (BCA). He has worked in a number of research projects with various Singapore government agencies, including as the collaborators of energy efficient building façade for thermal comfort environment and study on acceptable reflectance level of building facade materials in Singapore projects.SynopsisAt the national level, Singapore has been pushing for the adoption of Solar Photovoltaic (PV), a technology that converts sunlight into direct current electricity by using semiconductors, as a renewable energy source.
