BacKLane Cinema is excited to bring you our fourth screening - in collaboration with Project Kwai Chai Hong!BacKLane Cinema is a community program organized by Filemmakers Anonymous and REXKL with the support of Think City and Citi Foundation. Our fourth screening will explore the theme of "Heritage". Imagine the old-school wayang pacak style of watching films, but instead of on the grass, you'll be watching it in the streets of downtown Kuala Lumpur. It is an attempt to activate the laneways of where KL first began and also to instill a community gathering where people can enjoy watching films together in a public space, for FREE. We've teamed up with the fine folks at Project Kwai Chai Hong who's hidden alley off of Lorong Panggung is the perfect venue to watch heritage-themed films.Explore the films, explore the charming backlane filled with murals and history, explore the delicious snacks and food!First 100 online sign-ups will receive early-bird treats from us :)Itinerary:7.00pm Registration opens 8.00pm Showtime!
