Chinese Painting Workshop: Express Love, Happiness and Yourself

In this 3-hour workshop, we will learn the art and techniques of Chinese Painting and explore brush painting motifs like bamboo and lotus. Feel free to express your creativity, happiness, love and freedom.

Chinese brush painting is an ancient art that continues to fascinate contemporary artists. The basic strokes can be learned in moments and require years to master. Simple beauty, harmony, serenity and tranquility may be discovered in a symbol, a bird, or a landscape.

Have you heard one of the type of Chinese Painting called 写意画(xie yi hua). It means freehand painting in the impresionistic manner. The style is to express the essence of the subject, instead of the small details.

Tradtionnaly it is like this:

But who can stop you from being creative and express yourself!

we can even draw money, cat, pig with just a few lines!

And event we can draw this!!!
