October 2015 - Who am I? I am a Christian. I see the brokenness in the world. But I also see the brokenness in myself. Therefore I believe we all need to be reconciled; to God, to ourselves, to each other. To have all things 'made right' is a human cry. What that means for me- as a History graduate, Travel App (Goru) product manager at StarHub, co-author of the book Unfolding His Story- I am still figuring out every day as a work in progress.
Written a long time ago - The important question to ask is why our stories seem to change the older we get. The further we progress, the more our story, and how we understand the preceding years of life, changes. I attribute this to the coming of maturity and the illumination of the Holy Spirit.
As I understand it now, I see the gospel of Christ reflected in my story: in how God took a wretch like me, and began an ongoing process of transformation as he brought me into His glorious kingdom. I have seen how he has taken habits, qualities, inadequacies and perversions within me, and transformed me through the message of the gospel, in the person of His Son, Jesus Christ.
If you are reading this, and you are wondering about what I am talking about, and what all this really means, I will be glad to tell you my story. And then you will decide, is my story just about myself, or does it point to someone greater?
