Join Sarah as she delves deep into "the art of dying", aka: premiers her two short films for the first time in Singapore! The screenings will be followed by a Q&A and all around good times.
The first short, "Old man, one day" (2016), is the whimsical story of a moment shared between an old man, his radio, and his foreign domestic caretaker. Set in a truly Singaporean milieu, this short film is a touching reflection on ageing and the insecurity it breeds within us all.
Second short, "The Clinic" (2015), is a time-twisting story of a young man suffering from severe depression. The film takes us on a complex moral journey through one of the most socially relevant and pressing issues within the medical field.
*****Pssssst. Did you know by attending this screening you're helping out a good cause! 100% of all ticket sales will be donated to HOME, a human-rights based NGO that helps migrant workers in Singapore. For more info, visit: http://www.home.org.sg/
