Yale-NUS Association for the Protection of Animals from Cruelty (YAPAC)

Yale-NUS Association for the Protection of Animals from Cruelty (YAPAC) was founded October 10, 2014 as a student organization at Yale-NUS College. All matriculated Yale-NUS College students, faculty, and staff as well as exchange students at Yale-NUS College are eligible for membership.

YAPAC's purpose is to:

a. Engage in local, regional, and international campaigns and cruelty investigations promoting the welfare and/or protection of animals;
b. Participate in local, regional, and international animal rescue and conservation operations;
c. Host special events to raise awareness of animal cruelty and exploitation as well as actions that may be undertaken to enhance animal welfare and/or protection;
d. Provide education and information about animal welfare and/or protection to the student body, faculty, and staff at Yale-NUS College as well as the public.

All YAPAC's activities are directed to the purposes laid out above.
