Arzumy MD is the Chief Technology Officer for two companies; REV Asia, Southeast Asia’s
Leading New Media company and Billplz, a finance tech startup focusing on making billing andpayment collection easy for everyone. He has over 12 years experience in tech startup ecosystem. He is the founding team member of GroupsMore (acquired by Groupon) and SAYS.com (acquired by Catcha Group), and helped rebuild Friendster.com (after acquired by MOL). Arzumy is currently working on KFit.com revolutionizing the way people approach fitness in Asia Pacific. It took KFit 5 weeks from ideation to first paying customer. This workshop is currently being revised with the latest case study from KFit launch.

Session 1 : Ideation
Value Proposition - Building a compelling value proposition.
Customer Segments - High level identification of the users and problems to solve.
MVP - Define the minimum viable production to execute for feedback gathering.
Product Roadmaps - Guideline how to plan for product development path.
Session 2 : Business Case
Product/Market Fit - Define and validate hypothesis to find the right product/market fit.
Business Model - Completion of business model canvas.
Market Analysis - Understand how to do top-down market analysis.
Competitive Analysis - Define product positioning in the market.
Session 3 : UX Design
User Research - Execute user research from various methods to identify pain points.
Personas - Identify clearly who are the users based on research.
Wire framing - Communicate the layout of the product.
Story boarding - Communicate the UX flow using different methods.
Session 4 : Agile Inception
Goals - Set product goals and non-goals for clarity during product development sprint
Risks - Identify development and business risks. Prepare for mitigation plan
Roles - Define product’s user and identify their role.
Activities - List out set of activities for the roles.
Session 5 : Communication
Project Management - Learn different project management methodologies.
Architecture - Basic understanding of mobile and web architecture.
Tools - Introduction to various communication tools and concept.
Managing Stakeholders - Learn how to communicate value to different stakeholders. Learn different ways of convincing developers and designers.
Session 6 : Metrics
Measuring Success - Data oriented decision making how-to and guidelines.
Vanity Metrics - Trap Learn why certain metrics are useless. Find the right metric to monitor.
A/B Testing - Understand the importance of validating changes.
Tools - Introduction to various services and ways to collect data.
Iterate - Use data to determine the next product sprint.
