Online retail sector in Malaysia is growing fast, do you want to get involved and start your own ecommerce business? This workshop will help you to Understanding The What, Why & How of Malaysia E-commerce and also a strong understanding of the different facets that are required in developing an E-commerce business



Course Details:


Session 1 :

  • Understand the basics of Search Engine Marketing (SEM) and Google AdWords
  • The Google Network components and how they are different from one another
  • Basic structure the AdWords account, campaigns and ad groups to position yourself for success
  • Understand how the auction works
  • Find out the importance of Quality Score in an auction and what can influence it
  • How an advertisement position is determined


Session 2 :

  • Learn the various bidding options available in AdWords
  • Discover how advertisement copies are written to entice the audience
  • Learn how to research for keywords using the Keyword Planner
  • Find out how the different keyword match types work
  • Discover the various targeting methods when setting up campaigns
  • Learn how to specifically target your ads to specific locations and how to exclude locations


Session 3 :

  • Find out how Google determine where a user is located
  • Understand the various metrics found in the reports and how to interpret them
  • Discover the different ad formats that are available in AdWords
  • Learn how budgets can have an effect in your campaigns
  • Discover how to produce reports in AdWords and customizing them
  • Learn how to discover negative keywords and new keywords for campaigns


Session 4 :

  • Understand the importance of performance tracking and how to track conversions
  • Find out how to manage multiple AdWords accounts with the My Client Center
  • Understand reporting for different objectives
  • Discover how key metrics are calculated and how to interpret them
  • Understand the difference between the terms “metrics” and “dimensions”
  • Learn how to set up basic filters


Session 5 :

  • Discover how to set up goals and e-commerce
  • Learn how to collect campaign data
  • Discover how to use the URL builder to create manual tags
  • Learn to be familiar with the standard report layout
  • Learn how to use Audience reports for new audience targeting opportunities


Session 6 :

  • Discover how Acquisition reports can be used for campaign optimization
  • Learn basic campaign optimization opportunities that can be found in the AdWords reports
  • Understand the Behaviour reports
  • Learn how to create custom reports and dashboards
  • Understand the difference between the Goals reports and Multi-Channel Funnels reports
