Bass Sekolah are producer Cee and multi instrumentalist-crooner Darren Ashley on a mission to make honest, soulful, forward thinking Electronica.
They are the sound of a screaming jungle, a kaleidoscope of the loudest, brightest colors that electronic music and sound design can produce.
And the truth is, that the almost tactile crackling textures that permeate all Bass Sekolah songs are, in fact, the sounds of the Berembun forrest reserve in Malaysia, where the group's studio is located, incidentally caught on tape.
