Our lives are full of gestures, we use many every day but we are often unaware of the fact. Do you know where they come from? A gesture in one country can have completely different meaning in another. In the advent of recent technology and devices, new gestures with new meanings are coming to life, crossing borders and creating a unique global language.

During this workshop, we will investigate both new and old gestures in order to create a gesture map of our time. In addition we will venture to invent new gestures for envisioned future devices and services.
