A Prayer for Japan-- Concert/Dance and A2-B-C Screening

A Benefit for Fukushima Kids Hawaii House, hosting babies and moms from Fukushima for 1~3 months in Kona
Description
Join us for the 4th Charity Concert by Aloha Keiki Ensemble and a documentary film screening of "A2-B-C" (Director: Ian Thomas Ash, 71 minutes) on the 4th anniversary of East Japan Great Earthquake and nuclear disaster that continues today, releasing radiation to the air, soil and water.
118 children have developed thyroid cancer in Fukushima, but our government denies its correlation to radiation.
All proceeds will go to Aloha Keiki, 501(c)(3), supporting the Fukushima Kids Hawaii House where babies and their mothers from Fukushima can stay for free to get a respite from radiation, healed and relaxed. Fukushima Kids Hawaii House in Kona is maintained by your generous donations. Your participation to our events, your prayer and support by sharing this page with others are greatly appreciated.

The concert also features a performance by Shizuno, a famous contemporary dancer from Hilo. "Prayer" will be the theme of her dance, accompanied by a solo singer Kaui Trainer, who has an enchanting voice you would love so much.

Do not miss the great performances by Japanese singer Gen Morita and Yumi Kikuchi (flute), Roy Kimura (flute) playing traditional Japanese songs, accompanied by Annu Shionoya (Piano).

We have silent auction as usual starting at 6:30pm. We will end the auction at 8pm. Then awards winning documentary film "A2-B-C" will be shown for the first time on the Big Island of Hawaii. You will learn so much about what is going on in Fukushima by this thought provoking film.

Fukushima is not over at all. Fukushima is our problem, we need to solve it together and we need to support babies and children from radiation exposure. Come and pray together for Japan on the 4th anniversary of the 311 disaster (March 11 in Japan is March 10 in Hawaii).

Pupus and refreshments will be served. Join and Pray for Japan. Mahalo nui loa
