“one in three women on the planet will be raped or beaten in her lifetime”http://www.onebillionrising.org/ヴァギナ。ヴァギナ、ヴァギナ、ヴァギナ。中学校の保健体育の授業で描かれた現実味のない図解の、横に記された名称からそっと目を背けた。それからすっかり聞かなくなった、耳慣れない言葉。ヴァギナ、何故その言葉に赤面してしまうのか。まんこやヴァギナという言葉を発することにどうしてこんなに抵抗を感じるのだろう。「女性の三人に一人、生涯過ごす時間のうちのどこかでレイプや暴力を受けている。」http://www.onebillionrising.org/2015年2月、東京から集められた学生から社会人、様々な女性たちによって『ヴァギナ・モノローグ』が朗読される。『ヴァギナ・モノローグ』は、フェミニスト、パフォーマー、そして著者として世界的に知られるイヴ・エンスラーによる短いモノローグ集。セックスと関係性、そして暴力に関して200人の女性を自らインタビューし、それをもとに書いた作品である。女性や子供に対する暴力への問題を取りあげるべく、世界中で繰り返し上演されている。真剣かつユーモラスで、赤裸々で、一生懸命で。密やかなようで、重大で、あまりに重大で。そんな女たちの言葉に耳を傾ける時間。――――――――――――――――――――――――――2015年2月22日（日） The Pink Cowにて※英語と日本語を含むパフォーマンスです。また、女性のための一時保護施設によるアフタートークあり。▽昼の公演 16:30～18:00《ディナータイム》 18:00～20:00▽夜の公演 20:30～22:00チケット一律 2500円（《ディナータイム》にビュッフェスタイルのお食事付き。チケット代のうち500円は女性のための一時保護施設に寄付されます。）チケットはこちらから: http://ptix.co/1twy2h4お問い合わせ先: ssaeed01@gmail.com

An all female cast of students and professionals from Tokyo will be performing the Vagina Monologues in February at the Pink Cow as a way to commemorate Valentines Day and raise awareness about women's issues especially connected to domestic violence and sexual trauma.
Tickets: ¥2,500 at the door (including all you can eat buffet. ¥500 will be given to a women's shelter in Tokyo).
There will be two shows on Sunday, February 22nd:
First show: 4:30 - 6pm
Dinner: 6 - 8pm
Second show: 8:30 - 10pm
Please be mindful of when dinner will be based on the show you decide to come for. :)
The Vagina Monologues is an annual benefit performance held across the globe that aims to raise awareness of violence against women and children. Additionally, we will have a guest speaker from a women's shelter in Tokyo attending to speak about their projects and work.
The performances will be short monologues based on 200 interviews of women conducted by author Eve Ensler about their views on sex, relationships, and violence against women. Both Japanese and English monologues will be performed!!
