Framing Disability: From Words to Action

Interactive Workshop 2015
Description

How do people with disabilities really view contemporary portrayals of disability on campus and in society today – and what can you do about it? What is your perception of disability? Do your words and actions betray deeply-held personal prejudices? What makes some disability terms inappropriate or offensive? Join us for this interactive workshop as we explore the answers to these questions and more.
